Well I’m still on the fence about this…Transformers actually instilled an iota of hope for the GI Joe movie.  The posters just came out and although they look pretty good, did anybody else notice that anyone who isn’t dual wielding has the signature “kung-fu grip”?

One of my earliest sci-fi memories was seeing Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan at Centrepoint Mall in 1982.  I’m not sure why we picked Star Trek over  For Your Eyes Only, which somewhat appealed to my perverted 6 year old mind. I would have to blame my 8 year old brother for picking it, even though we were both Bond fiends, he was always a Trekker. My little heart crushed, not being able to see the “girl in the swimsuit” shoot her crossbow, although my consolation prize was seeing Mr. Roarke kick ass  … RIP Ricardo Montalba, 1920-2009.

I still think this is a travesty…he is being persecuted for something nobody is really sure what he was taking..innocent until proven guilty my ass…these old bastards have to come to the realization that if Mark McGwire was taking steroids (I say if because we truly don’t know for sure), SO WAS EVERY BODY ELSE AND HE WAS THE BEST POWER HITTER OUT OF THE BUNCH…

Therefore, holding this reasoning they will not let Barry Bonds, Sammy Sosa, Matt Williams, Jeff Bagwell, adn the rest of their ilk?

Can’t wait for the old farts justify those ones…

Total Films ha put together a list of the  top 14 worst movie themed shoes.  “The Thing” dunks don’t look that bad, but the Scarface shoes are hideous, what marketing genius thought that one up. An honorable mention should go to Reebok’s Voltron line, the pictures don’t do them justice. Check them out for yourself, currently available at all Reebok clearance outlets.

Not really movie related, but I’ve always wanted a pair of Silver Surfer dunks, Norrin Radd!
