Nerd Up!

Based on Greg Pak’s comic-book storyline (Incredible Hulk issues #92 to #105), the movie begins with the Illuminati (a secret group of superheroes that includes Iron Man and Professor X) sentencing the Hulk to exile on a deserted planet because the big, green guy has become a danger to Earth. While in outer space, Hulk does what Hulk does best — gets angry — and causes his rocket to crash land on the vicious planet of Sakaar, where he is captured and eventually becomes a triumphant gladiator.

Could this lead up to World War Hulk?

Iron Man looks dope! The animation kind of reminds me of what Tony Stark would look like in the Evangelion series. Wolverine on the other hand makes no sense, how can you transform a burly/hairy Canadian midget into an effeminate ninja. I guess they missed the memo on the hair, he’s Canadian so he needs hockey hair right? One can only wish they made this a full anime series, nerd sigh..

Microsoft creating a Halo Division, as opposed to an exclusive development studio, is an interesting approach to the traditional development cycle and model for games. They are to manage any entertainment related to the Halo universe, it looks to be the same type of process that Marvel has undertaken to bring all their properties under the same roof. This may mean that the feature film that has been shelved will actually get made. With the announcement of the anime, we will have to wait and see as to the quality.
