Gordon-Levitt on Cobra Commander

Wide Right, Wide Right
LOS ANGELES – It’s one of the most shrouded summer movie mysteries: What will villain Cobra Commander look like in “G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra”?
Joseph Gordon-Levitt , who stars as the masked baddie in the film, isn’t giving away any details. But the 28-year-old actor says the character’s look was the main reason he signed on for the role.
Gordon-Levitt says his reaction to the drawings and designs for the character was: “Oh wow, I get to be that guy? Fantastic. Sign me up. Please. Thank you.”
“G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra,” based on the popular toy line, will be in theaters Aug. 7.
They should have got John Lithgow to be Zartan, or at least this dude. Please, Thank you

Attack Dogs FTW!
by Karch on Mar.24, 2009, under Games
I am tired of all this bunk about the attack dogs in Call of Duty: World at War. The high school student that started all of this probably failed history, if she took history at all. Throughout both world wars, the Germans, Russians, and Japanese all used attack dogs during the battles. They were used for transport of munitions, injured soldiers (on a sled), detection of mines, and yes ATTACKING THE ENEMY. If she, or the wonderful people at PETA, would use this new fangled thing called Google they would find many articles on the history of the attack dog. Including instances of the good ‘ol US of A using dogs in the military as well. By them trying to hide the use of attack dogs in battle they are trying to diminish the HISTORICAL significance of these skirmishes.

Sheng Long
I remember when these stories would be everywhere…its kind of a nice reminder of some of the tall tales that were told about certain games and series…
EGM…It’s been a good run

EGM May 1989
Just a couple of words about EGM…This was the first Gaming mag that I had ever read (other than Nintendo Power), and its kind of sad to see it gone…Personally I think the brand is still pretty strong and that it should be used for an online presence. But that would be up to the license holders anyway.
1 issue short of 20 years…
Thanks for the memories.

Clip courtesy of the Spike VGA awards which aired tonight. Probably the only reason to pony up $400 for a PS3.
