SDCC: Jim Lee’s X-MEN #1 20th Anniversary Edition

The world’s bestselling comic book, 1991′s X-Men #1 is getting a  20th anniversary edition, complete with re-inking and re-colouring!  The funniest co-incidence is, me and my co worker were just talking about this, the coloring and inking was soooo bad back in the day.  I’m cool with this, I loved that gatefold cover. SDCC: “The Walking Dead” Season 2 Trailer

AMC has debuted the trailer for “The Walking Dead” Season 2, which premieres on October 16.

Filming is currently underway for the second season of AMC’s hit zombie show and, damn, things are sure looking amazing!  I don’t think they’d veer quite so far from the comics, the whole cast looks fuckin’ miserable, and that’s what makes Walking Dead so dope!

Jock’s unveils upcoming “Detective Comics” Cover

There are amazing other cover artists out there, but none of them stun us so regularly. Between his covers for Detective Comics and his various Marvel covers, the guy is pumping out magnificent works of art at a ridiculous pace. .

This week, Jock premiered a Joker cover on his twitter, presumed to be for an upcoming issue of his current series Detective Comics. Within 9 minutes Jock obtained over 25 retweets of this image, leading the artist to remark that he’s “NEVER had a response like that before. hit a nerve? maybe a funny bone….”
