Breaking Even More Records
by Justin on May.14, 2012, under Film
First off, I’d like to start this post by saying this: for those of you who have yet to see The Avengers, get out of under that rock and head on down to the nearest movie theater.
Now that I’ve got that one off of my chest, here it goes, just two weeks after its opening weekend 207 million dollar record breaker, Marvel’s The Avengers is on its way to passing yet another milestone: one billion dollars worldwide. Yes, that’s right, one billion dollars. This approximate total comes from the 373 million dollars made at the domestic box office and the 628 million dollars made internationally.
Maybe it’s time to go see The Avengers.

New “G.I. Joe: Retaliation” Trailer

Where is Shipwreck?
Check out the theatrical trailer for Jon Chu‘s G.I. Joe Retaliation is now online. Opening June 29, 2012, it stars Dwayne Johnson, Channing Tatum, Bruce Willis, Adrianne Palicki, D.J. Cotrona, Byung-hun Lee, Ray Park, RZA, Joseph Mazzello, Elodie Yung, and Walton Goggins.
So, what do you think? No Weather Dominator? No ravenous plant life, no Serpentor, no La La La. Looks like they distilled it down to big guns and Ninjas, which works for me!

by ilango on Apr.11, 2012, under Film
Thanks to the Sony Pictures Twitter feed (the International Distributor of the film), we get a first glance of some promotional material for the film. While it doesn’t say much, it is very Gailo/Spaghetti Western influenced, which has this movie nerd pumped!
Just give me Guido & Maurizio De Angelis, Ennio or Goblin on the OST, till then, enjoy some Luis Bacalov heatery below.
Django Unchained, starring Jamie Foxx, Leonardo DiCaprio, Christoph Waltz, Samuel L. Jackson, Kerry Washington, Sacha Baron Cohen, and Kurt Russell, written and directed by Quentin Tarantino, opens December 25.
Update: New English version after the jump!
