Hot Toys just revealed more images of their 1/6 scale Red Skull figure based on his appearance in last summer’s Captain America film. The promo shots are stunning in every way, once again suggesting Hot Toys produces the best the action figure industry has to offer. It’s likely the final product will look just as good on toy shelves at home given the company’s past record on delivering amazing figures.

Praise the internet gods, the full Comic-Con trailer for Kenneth Branagh‘s Thor has made its way online. The superhero blockbuster stars Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Kat Dennings, Anthony Hopkins, Idris Elba, Stellan Skarsgård, Tom Hiddleston and Ray Stevenson. Plot: Marvel Studios expands its film universe with a new type of superhero: THOR. This epic adventure spans the Marvel Universe; from present day Earth to the realm of Asgard. At the center of the story is The Mighty Thor, a powerful but arrogant warrior whose reckless actions reignite an ancient war. Thor is cast down to Earth and forced to live among humans as punishment. Once here, Thor learns what it takes to be a true hero when the most dangerous villain of his world sends the darkest forces of Asgard to invade Earth. OTRC caught up with director Joss Whedon (Serenity) at the San Diego Comic-Con to talk about the team that is being put together for Marvel’s “The Avengers” movie.

“I’m writing and directing it,” he said. “There will be some avenging that takes place during the film and that’s about all I can tell you. I think it’s well-known that Jeremy Renner (The Hurt Locker) is joining us as Hawkeye, which is so exciting for me and the rest of the cast.”
