Not exactly Avengers Movie News, but the video above features our favourite Star Spangled Avenger, Captain America ... handing out a lego beatdown! No Red Skull, No Loki, just YELLOW-on-YELLOW VIOLENCE! My little lego brick mind is BLOWN!! Mega Nerd props for the Nuke appearance

Earlier today, Marvel Studios held a twitter event hosted by Marvel’s @Agent_M (Ryan Penagos) along with some of the cast and crew of Marvel’s The Avengers. A few funny tidbits were dropped, but the one thing that did stand out was the 17 second clip posted above. Sadly, no Skrulls, Kree, Red Skull or Thanos … but intergalactic spaceships? I’m thinking the other baddie in the movie is The Frost Giants … yawn.

Revealed in a liveblog yesterday were these new Hasbro action figures from the upcoming Avengers movie. The Hasbro toy design team worked closely with Marvel to recreate the likeness of each of the figures, and it shows! The Hulk action figure even has his signature “Hulk Smash” feature.

Hot Toys just revealed more images of their 1/6 scale Red Skull figure based on his appearance in last summer’s Captain America film. The promo shots are stunning in every way, once again suggesting Hot Toys produces the best the action figure industry has to offer. It’s likely the final product will look just as good on toy shelves at home given the company’s past record on delivering amazing figures.
