Marvel has just announced a three issue Fear Itself: Deadpool miniseries starting in June. The series is written by Christopher Hastings with art by Bong Dazo, and is part of the Fear Itself event. Marvel.com has additional comments from writer about the series.

Above we have our first look at the first wave of the Marvel Universe 2011 “Greatest Battles” 3.75″ Comic 2-Packs.

These sets were initially listed last year in Walmart computers, and now we have photographic evidence of their existence! The Deadpool figure looks like a new sculpt, and not the same mold used for the X-Men Origins: Wolverine figure … Taskmaster looks totally badass!

We can also expect a wave to feature the following, but unfortunately no images were released.
