“Russel Crowe, The Baddest Man Alive” The Rza
by ilango on Sep.14, 2010, under Film
As you may or may not know, Crowe worked with RZA on the film American Gangster. He will now play opposite the Wu-Tang Klan musician/actor in the period Kung Fu film. RZA will play a weapons-making village blacksmith in feudal China, but he won't reveal who Crowe will be playing, saying,
I won't spoil it for you, but Russell's gonna be the baddest man alive. That man is in fighting shape. That man will knock you out.So I take it we'll see Crowe doing some Kung-Fu action in the film. RZA is writing the film with producer Eli Roth. RZA will also direct the movie, which starts shooting in Shanghai in December. Universal reportedly green lighted Iron Fist in May with a $20 million budget.

by ilango on Feb.06, 2009, under Nerdery

"Rzarecta, Raaah, Like a Bat in the Night about to take Flight!"
With NYCC just around the corner, Skyfarm Studios is releasing a series of action figures based on everyone’s favourite wu-tanger, The RZA. Which is great, I finally have something to put next to my GFK Doll. Maybe I can even re-enact some of there greatest battles.
I’ve always been a big Wu fan, not so much a fan of Wu tie-ins. I would invest in Wu-Financial though… diversify your bonds!
