Original ‘Blade Runner’ Scribe Hampton Fancher Will Pen Sequel:

Hampton Fancher, writer of the original Blade Runner, will once again work with Ridley Scottt and write the untitled sequel. Yes, it is confirmed it is a sequel. Per the filmmakers, this one will be set “some years after the first film concluded.”
Blade Runner was based on Phillip K. Dick’s Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? It starred Harrison Ford as Rick Deckard a blade runner, who hunted artificial humans known as replicants. Fancher co-wrote the script with David Peoples, but will be going solo this time.
Since Blade Runner Fancher has only written two other movies; The MIghty Quinn in 1989 and The Minus Man, which he also directed, in 1999.
What do you think of this? Do you like the idea of a sequel?
